這是一個以順寧道重建事件作藍本的故事。一家三口,住天台屋,突然面對市區重建,生活由此產生鉅變。


我們的城市,誰曾聽過這些聲音,誰還記得這些市民?

The relentless force of urban redevelopment sweeps across the city as if it is a hurricane.


It is a story based on the affair sparked by the Shun Ning Road Redevelopment Project. A family of three, living in a rooftop shack for years, is forced to move out all of a sudden due to the urban renewal project. Their lives change drastically.


In our city, does anyone remember these residents, and who has ever heard of their voices?

導演簡介:郭臻

 

生於1985年。香港獨立電影導演及自由業者。喜歡普通人的故事。
作品曾獲得多個獎項,包括第十五屆香港獨立短片及錄像比赛(ifva) 公開組金獎等。2013年短片《流放地》也獲台灣金馬獎最佳創作短片提名及中國獨立影像年度展短片競賽最佳導演等殊榮。

 

Director Biography:KWOK Zune

 

Born in 1985, KWOK is an independent filmmaker and freelancer interested in stories of ordinary people. His works won a number of prizes, including the Gold Award in the Open Category of the 15th Incubator for Film and Visual Media in Asia (ifva). In 2013, his short film, Downstream, was nominated for the Best Short Film in Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan and won the Best Director in the China Independent Film Festival.

莫先生是一棟觀塘工廈的夜更保安員,時常接觸大廈裡不同的住客,觀望他們如何活用工廈空間,他們有平凡的家庭,有搞製作的年輕人。除了當保安員,他還在同區經營鐘錶維修的流動小檔攤。


一切看似風平浪靜。可是,當重建和發展的陰霾殺到埋身,不遷不拆,不但適用於新界村落,還有形形式式的城市空間。

Mok is a night shift security guard in a Kwun Tong factory building. Working in this building, he observes how different people utilize the space of factory building. There are ordinary families, youngsters who form production house and so forth. Besides from being a security guard, he also works as an itinerant hawker in the nearby area, doing watch and clock repair.


It seems that everything is going smooth like a calm sea. However, when urban renewals and developments spread like haze covering our living environment, the chanting slogan “No Moving, No Demolition” is not only applicable to New territories’ villages, but also various urban spaces in Hong Kong.

導演簡介:盧鎮業

 

生於一九八六。畢業於香港城市大學創意媒體學院,主修電影藝術。嘗試以獨立電影碰撞社會。2012年完成首部長片作品《那年春夏·之後》,曾參加香港獨立電影節2012及第36屆香港國際電影節等多個影展,並於第十二屆南方影展獲當代觀點獎及人權關懷獎。

 

Director Biography:LO Chun Yip

 

Born in 1986, LO was graduated in the School of Creative Media in The City University of Hong Kong, majored in Cinematic Arts. He attempts to bring impacts on society through independent films. In 2012, he finished his first feature film, Days after n coming, and was screened in the Hong Kong Independent Film Festival 2012 and the 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival. He also won the Contemporary Perspective Award and the Concerns of Human Rights Award in the 12the South Taiwan Film Festival.

 

導演簡介:黃飛鵬

 

畢業於香港城市大學創意媒體學院,獨立電影導演,他尤其相信電影不只是代表著它的自身,它們是在呈現一個狀況或是一段關係。他希望能拍出的電影都忠於電影本身,自己和觀眾。

 

Director Biography:WONG Fei Pang

 

WONG, an independent filmmaker, holds a BA (Hons) in Creative Media at the School of Creative Media, the City University of Hong Kong. He believes that a film is always more than a film. It is a manifestation of a situation or a relationship. Holding such a faith, he is making movies, which are true to the medium itself, true to himself, and to others.

一則多年前的真人真事,亦是《遺棄》的故事藍本。故事由自殺事件作起點,再沿著時間軸的之前溯源及之後延綿。之前,是父親阿威臨別前的生活記述。事發之後,是兒子阿賢如何面對茫茫前路。


事情過去了,沒有誰可以責怪誰,誰也曾在自己微妙的立場上釋出過善意,但那一點點的善意粉飾不了內心的麻木,結果誰也像不經意地遺棄著誰,就像這個地方那樣。人人民困愁城,特別是活在貧困邊緣的一群。

It was a true story happened years ago, which is also the blueprint of this film. It starts with the father’s suicide, then traces back to his life just before his suicide and how his son Yin lives ever after. 

 
Bygones are bygones. There is no one to blame. All of us have shown at least a little good will in our stands, but still it cannot whitewash our indifference deep inside. At last, we are all abandoned unintentionally, just like the way this place is abandoned. We people live in trouble and worry for the city, especially the marginalized and poor ones.

導演簡介:麥志恆

 

少時居於麗宮戲院旁,飽覽廉價二輪西片,奠下對電影的興趣,所有港產片經驗都是「事後補飛」,沒有親歷其境,甚是遺憾。大學時期開始拍攝短片和撰寫影評,89年加入「錄影力量」,直至九十年代中淡出,轉職電視台,以拍攝戲劇節目為主。作品有《特別響亮》、《殺犬記》、《寫生》等。

 

Director Biography:MAK Chi Hang

 

Started his short film production since early 90s, MAK mainly involved in social issue related independent documentary production. He had been the member of Video Power until mid 90s and later joined RTHK to produce TV documentary and TV Drama. Some of his latest works, such as Extremely Loud Alarm, A Protocol to Kill a Dog and Draw a A Life are available online.
